Why Kodály?
"Only the best is good enough for [students]." - Zoltán Kodály
Hungarian composer, musician, and educator Zoltán Kodály believed joyful and meaningful music-making occurs when children, youth and adults are immersed in songs from their own cultures and taught through sound developmental principles.
When guided by highly skilled teachers, students become adept at singing, hearing, reading, writing, creating and interpreting music - empowering them to be lifelong participants and contributors in music.
About the BYU InterMuse Academy
